Poppies

I work in earthenware clay adding coloured slips, using stencils and freehand work to make decorative pieces. My influence comes from the natural world and I often use plants or leaves to impress patterns on the clay which are then picked out in oxides. Some of my work is quite organic in style without straight lines, giving it movement and interest.
